Why do we have a CVE-116 Archive Site??
This site has a simple story:
My Dad, William E. Brown, served on the Badoeng Strait late in WW2, and his crew picture hangs on his study today.
His stories encouraged me to gather information on the ship on a single site, and this site is dedicated to him and all the others who served on CVE-116.
We hope that this site will provide a way for them and their families to remember those times and pass along the memories to family members in the future.
